Microsoft's latest operating system, Windows 10, is now reported to have been held in over 300 million devices.The news came from the APAC Communications Devices Microsoft Mobile Device Sales, Serena Siew, in a written statement received by AFP on Saturday."Along with the momentum that we shared last month at Build, Microsoft is very pleased to be able to share that currently run Windows 10 on 300 million active devices worldwide," he writes.Moreover, Windows 10 is claimed to be a Windows version of the most quickly adopted in history."We also saw a significant growth of the number of people who take advantage of outstanding features in Windows 10, using Microsoft Edge, Cortana, PC games, applications, and the Windows Store, more than ever before," said Serena.In a written statement, Serena also informed that the free updates coming to an end."Microsoft wants everyone to enjoy the benefits that benefit from Windows 10," said Serena."Therefore, Microsoft is encouraging everyone who has not utilized the free upgrade offer to do so soon, because the offer will expire on July 29," he added.
