Microsoft confirmed its commitment to delivering secure cloud storage service.

President of Microsoft Asia Pacific, said Cesar Cernuda as a leading enterprise computing, Microsoft's mission is to empower all people and organizations to get the best achievement.
Cloud, he said, is a data storage space that is flexible, productive, and intelligent.
To prove its commitment, some of this time Microsoft has set up Microsoft Transparency Center in Brussels in June 2015. In addition, Microsoft also partnered with Interpol to fend off global malware that affects more than 770,000 PCs in the last six months.
Microsoft also proves its commitment to the security of cloud by acquiring Adallom September 2015. Adallom is an innovator in cloud security company securityyang seeks to protect the cloud. In addition, Microsoft is getting certification for Microsoft Office 365 and Azure in the cloud security sector in 2015. In the same year, the company made by Bill Gates became the first company to get a privacy standard for its cloud applications.
Government Affairs Director of Microsoft Asia Pacific Jeffrey Avina said, the security of user data is a top priority of Microsoft.
"We have a commitment to the security of customer data. Even so, there are valid appropriate law enforcement jurisdiction," said Microsoft in the Office of Singapore, Tuesday (07/06/2016).
Furthermore, Regional Director, IP & Digital Crimes Unit Microsoft Asia Keshav Dhakad added, privacy becomes an important issue for Microsoft.
"What we do not do, is to give customer data to the government as a case that is now rife," he said. In addition, he made sure Microsoft does not provide encryption of customer data to the government to open.
"No request is granted in the absence of due process. We will look for justification, whether in emergencies or not. Normally, we reject the government's request, because this data belongs to the consumer instead of Microsoft," he said.
Even so, Microsoft understand their law enforcement in emergency situations. For example in the case of Charlie Hebdo shootings in France and the attack in Brussels, Microsoft provides support as needed to the government.
In principle, such as Apple, Microsoft does not provide its services to the government backdoor because it would create a security risk.(via.horas sumut)
