WASHINGTON - General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI), an
American company engaged in the field of long-distance flight
technology, launched unmanned aircraft (drone) technology.
Predator B drones called Big Wing was breaking the record longest flight. Predator B Big Wing can fly for 37 hours. "When you fly, Predator B Big Wing demonstrated slid, climbed to an
altitude operations, maneuver, and dived into the ground without
accident," in a written statement GA-ASI as reported from Sputnik,
Thursday (2/6).
This record surpassed the previous record, which is 10 hours. Aircraft
Division Head System GA-ASI David Alexander explained, Predator B Big
Wing used for reconnaissance, surveillance, and intelligence. "A pilot program will be conducted to further encourage the endurance ability to the point boundary," he said.
Not yet known whether these drones will also be equipped with a deadly weapon. GA-ASI revealed, these drones will be mass produced in 2018.
